General Information:

Usual Meeting date: Either last Tuesday or last Wednesday of each month.  The CSTA is still making changes and advances to all aspects of meetings.  Please check events portion of the website for current event details.

Time: 4:30 PM

Meeting room facilities

The meeting room has an overhead projector, screen and internet Wi-Fi access.
Meeting size it typically around 30 people.
Food and refreshments are provided.
Our motto is “Participate and Learn”.  Attending events should be integral to your ongoing technical analysis education.  And don't forget to introduce yourself to fellow CSTA members. Networking and sharing ideas is a big part of all our events.  We look forward to seeing you soon.

Along with learning new Technical Analysis concepts, the practical application of the techniques is stressed.  Presenters are asked to include "take home" Technical Analysis techniques that CSTA members of varying experience can try at home and incorporate at least one of the techniques into their own "Technical Analysis Tool Box" regardless of the technical analysis software they use (platform independent).

Presentation: 1 to 1.5 hours - followed by Q&A and/or Market Analysis (see below), general discussion and some networking time with other members.

Market Analysis

Time and topic permitting, the meeting is opened to member participation reviewing live charts to analyze the previous month's activity of specific markets of interest, the current activity or InterMarket relationships, and discuss as a group where that market has been and "where the right hand side of the chart" might develop, based on the Technical Analysis concepts and techniques (either just learned, or other techniques suggested).

Annual Conferences

The annual CSTA Toronto Conference is our premier event.  We invite speakers from all over the world to present their research and techniques.

At the end of each year we get together for a wrap-up party at a local restaurant.  This is a time to share your war stories from the past year and to talk about all the great things coming up in the new year.
