CSTA Winnipeg Monthly Meeting - June **ONLINE PARTICIPANT**

I bring a very different level of expertise to the field of retail investment management. As one of only approximately 490 individuals, globally, that hold both the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designations, I have demonstrated my commitment to the investment industry and achieved the highest level of accreditation that measures the competence and integrity of financial and technical analysts. Blending fundamentals with technicals is powerful and my process is best described as fundamentally screened, yet technically driven.

I also hold a Bachelor of Mathematics, and studied mathematical theory, computer modeling and acquired exemplary problem-solving skills. My previous work for an institutional investment manager with $18 billion under management revolved around model development, portfolio optimization, risk management and other quantitative research. I understand how the different sides of this business work, and can apply institutional techniques to manage risk and increase portfolio efficiency.

I have four young, homeschooled children who keep me running when I'm not in the office! I'm thankful for the flexibility to be active in their lives and run them all over town for music lessons, recreation and other interests. We're a musical family with piano, violin, drums, clarinet, flute, guitar and bass represented! On a personal note, I play bass as part of the worship team at church.
