Topic: Investment Banking Career Information Session

Description: CSTA Toronto is partnering with Wiley to invite you to a special financial career drop-in session. Delivered by a Wall Street professional , author and expert CSTA members will learn how to land an internship, tips to jump start your career and help you stand out from your first day, and get answers to questions including:                             

  • What does a career in banking look like and what does it take to succeed?
  • Typical behavioral and technical questions at investment banking interviews and how to answer them: what are the advantages of each of the four valuation models; what is an LBO; How could a company with positive EBIDTA go bankrupt?
  • What skills and traits are banks looking for in new hires?
  • What free resources are available and how can Wiley help me

Speaker: Joshua Rosenbloom, Managing Director, RBC Capital Markets

Bio:  Rosenbaum is a New York City based Managing Director at RBC Capital Markets in the Industrials & Diversified Services Group. He originates, structures, and advises on M&A, corporate finance, and capital markets transactions. Josh is also a frequent speaker on corporate finance, capital markets, and investment banking, providing     unique and timely insight on sector trends, valuation, and outlook. Previously, he worked at UBS  Investment Bank and the International Finance Corporation, the direct investment division of the World Bank. He received his AB from Harvard and his MBA with Baker Scholar honors from Harvard Business  School.  

Cost: Free for members of the CSTA, CMT Association, Canadian CFA Societies or University/College students. $20.00 for guests
