Overview
This second of two workshops on the application of technical analysis in investment decision-making for charter holders delves deeper into the interpretation and application of technical indicators in the investment decision-making process. This session builds on the initial workshop that provided working knowledge on main technical indicators and how they are utilized by technicians to interpret market sentiment and develop investment decisions. You do not have to have attended the first session to attend this workshop.
 

Topics Include

·       Discussion of technical indicators, strengths and shortcomings

·       Application of technical indicators in buy and sell decisions including current markets
 

Learning Outcomes

·       Understand the applicability, strengths and weaknesses of technical indicators in buy and sell decisions

·       Apply multiple technical indicators together in an investment decision making process, and appreciate how the process complements other analytical approaches including top down and fundamental analysis

·       Interpret information provided by technical indicators on market sentiment and implications for asset allocation

·       Apply technical indicators in current market conditions
 

Agenda
For this 3 hour workshop, the discussion will center on the application of technical analysis through multiple examples and within current markets, utilizing a range of indicator types applied to a single buy or sell decision.
