Toronto Downtown Chapter of The Canadian Society of Technical Analysts

Chapter meeting

Speakers: Colin Cieszynski, CFA, CMT of the Canadian Society of Technical Analysts and Paul Coulombe of Wiley Efficient Learning

Topic: Demystifying leverage & Volatility + CMT Program & Prep Course Information

Abstract: The relationship between margin, leverage and volatility is one of the most misunderstood topics in investing, with significant implications for investors. In this presentation we shall explore how what this relationship means for traders and highlight the leading role taken by Canadian regulators in this area.

In our last meeting of the year, we shall also look ahead to the CSTA’s increased education offerings in 2018. In particular, Colin and Paul will discuss the curriculum and benefits of the CMT program and provide information on the CMT Level I live prep course coming to Toronto this winter.

Recommended for: members interested in leveraged trading, advocacy, foreign exchange, regulatory policy, professional education, continuing education, the CMT program and in live education options.
