Vancouver Chapter of The Canadian Society of Technical Analysts
Speaker: Cam Hui will share his thoughts on quantitative and technical methods to to identify potential trend changes in the market.
Cam Hui has been professionally involved in the financial markets since 1985 in a variety of roles, both as an equity portfolio manager and as a sell-side analyst. He graduated with a degree in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia in 1980 and obtained his CFA Charter in 1989. He has managed equity portfolios with notable public plan clients such as CALSTRS and the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board. He was also a key member of the Market Analysis team at Merrill Lynch, headed by Mary Ann Bartels, which was an Institutional Investor ranked team for technical analysis. Today, he is semi-retired and writes about markets at his website Humble Student of the Markets.
