Robert has a Bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Manchester, and a Masters degree, also in Economics, from Birkbeck College, University of London.

Topic: Systematic Trading
In this presentation, Robert Carver explains why he thinks that Systematic Trading is preferable to the discretionary / 'gut feel' / intuitive alternative. He will then cover three errors typically made by traders when designing and using systems - overfitting, overbetting (risking too much capital) and over trading (trading too often).
