David Cox, CFA, CMT, FCSI, FMA, BMath
Join us along with guest presenter David Cox, as we take a look at
David's top down analysis
by asset class, then by sector, and go through David's process of developing a market opinion on various time frames.
We will essentially go through the process and steps of many of David's models that he uses that go into his Monthly Market Chit Chat Newsletter, along with practical examples, which will of course be timely, of how he forms opinion and how he would plan to take advantage in the markets.
See how David's professional analysis works, considerations and the process workflow that goes into his decision making discipline. Join us for a further look at the tools in making such a plan.
About David
David www.davidcox.ca brings a very different level of expertise to the field of retail investment management. As one of only approximately 206 individuals, globally, that hold both the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designations, David has demonstrated his commitment to the investment industry and achieved the highest level of accreditation that measures the competence and integrity of financial and technical analysts.
He also holds a Bachelor of Mathematics, and studied mathematical theory, computer modeling and acquired exemplary problem solving skills. His previous work for an institutional investment manager with $18 billion under management revolved around model development, portfolio optimization, risk management and other quantitative research. David understands how the different sides of this business work, and can apply institutional techniques to manage risk and increase portfolio efficiency.
