Thanks to everyone who made it out to the 2nd annual Technicians Day on October 17, 2015. Our Cross Canada meeting was held simultaneously at multiple venues creating another great success. Utilizing a combination of remote presenters and local speakers, we were able to create a special day with CSTA members networking with other traders and hearing ideas from a wide range of professionals.
A special note of appreciation to Tom DeMark of DeMark Indicators and Martin Pring of Pring.com for volunteering to speak to our Canadian community. These visionary leaders in the field of Technical Analysis have broken down barriers to the use of technical analysis in the wider investment community approach.
Locally, Guiseppe Basile spoke to the Toronto Chapter, Winnipeg had Don Vialoux and Harold Davis speak live to the chapter and Calgary had Cory Mitchell of Vantage Point Trading present to the audience. The presentations were greatly appreciated and we would like to point out that all of our speakers volunteered their time which is a great gift to the organization. Thank you for your time, your professionalism and for sharing your knowledge.
Ron Meisels, President of Phases and Cycles delivered a strong Canadian perspective to the national audience and was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Congratulations to Ron for blazing a trail for technicians in Canada as the founding President of the CSTA.
Thanks to everyone who helped organize the Technicians Day with a special shout out to Reagan Yuke, Allan Hosey and Colin Cieszynski.
